BIOTEBAL MAX is used to treat biotin deficiency with symptoms such as: falling out hair, hair and nail growth disorders, inflammation of the skin around the eyes, nose, mouth and ears, after the doctor has ruled out other causes. Biotin supports the processes of keratin formation and the differentiation of epidermis and hair cells and nails. Dosage Adults: 5 mg to 10 mg daily. The usual recommended dose is 5 mg (commercially available) daily or in severe cases symptoms 10 mg daily. The duration of treatment depends on the patient’s condition and the course of the disease. Symptoms disappear after about 4 weeks of use.
